Butterfly Body Bright for Schools
Outside Australia
Butterfly Body Bright is a strength-based program for primary (elementary) schools that provides resources for a whole school approach to promoting positive body image and healthy relationships with eating and physical activity, for students from Foundation to Year 6 (approximately ages 5 to 12).
This program is an initiative of Butterfly Foundation, the national charity for anyone in Australia impacted by eating disorders and body image issues, as well as the families, friends and communities who support them.
While Butterfly Body Bright was developed for Australian primary schools, international schools are welcome to register and use the program as it stands.
Keep in mind that…
Lesson plans and learning sequences are mapped to the Australian Curriculum.
Terminology, examples and resources reflect the Australian school system.
All program content is in English.
However…
The risk and protective factors addressed in the program are universal across Westernised countries.
Schools may adapt the lesson plans to suit their local curriculum requirements as part of their own implementation.
Registration and Pricing
Cost: AU$2,000 (Australian dollars) per school.
Access period: 12 months from the date of program activation.
Who can register: Individual schools only. Each registration covers a single school site/campus.
Program access: Please allow 7 business days for your registration to be processed and access to be activated. Once activated, you will receive an email from the Body Bright team with your access details to the online portal.

Adapting Butterfly Body Bright for your context
Butterfly Body Bright is currently offered to individual schools on the terms above. It is not available for organisations, networks, or systems seeking to license, adapt, translate or roll Butterfly Body Bright out across multiple schools under their own arrangements.
If your organisation is interested in developing an adapted version of Butterfly Body Bright, whether for a different curriculum, region or language, please get in touch with our team to discuss a license or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
