The Role of the Body Bright Lead
Every Body Bright School appoints one or more staff members as the Body Bright Lead— your go-to person for coordinating and supporting the program.
You don’t need to be a wellbeing or body image expert to take on the role.
Whether you're a teaching or non-teaching staff member, what matters most is that you believe in helping children feel confident and capable in their bodies.
As a Body Bright Lead, you will:
Register the school and oversee program activation
Be the main contact between your school and Butterfly's Body Bright team
Act as the central support for staff using the program
Navigate the Body Bright online portal to access resources
Register staff for the Body Bright staff training (unlimited staff can participate)
Track your school’s progress and engagement with the program
Support the implementation of School Culture Guidelines (as much or as little as suits your school)
Encourage a whole-school approach by sharing Body Bright messages across the community
Leads don’t have to do it all alone! Body Bright is flexible, and schools can appoint multiple Leads or create a small team to share the role.

We make it easy for Leads to get started and stay supported, with:
Access to the exclusive Body Bright Lead Resources portal with planning documents, checklists and more
Quarterly newsletters with program updates and helpful info
Planning tools and templates to make coordination simple
All the digital resources needed to implement the program
A Body Bright School Pack mailed to your school (includes corflute board, posters, bookmarks, stickers & more!)
Email support from the Butterfly team whenever you need it
